Time to Toddler-Proof

So, if you've been reading this for awhile, you may have noticed that I'm more of a reactive mom than a proactive mom. For example, I didn't lower Violet's crib until she pulled up in it.

Anywho, a while back, John went to the store and bought outlet plugs and cabinet locks so we could baby-proof the house. I immediately installed the outlet plugs, because V was crawling and I didn't want her to electrocute herself or anything, but didn't really do anything with the cabinet/drawer locks but put them in a drawer to be installed later.

Well, it's later. How do I know, you ask?

3 reasons.

1. Violet can open our cabinets and drawers.

2. Her favorite cabinet to play in is the one full of my Pyrex, and her favorite drawer has all our barbeque utensils (including a steak knife and fork).

3. She walks, and will be over playing in the cabinet in the blink of an eye.

At this point, I had to put the camera down because she was about to start pulling the Pyrex out of the cabinet and REALLY play with it. I gave her a strainer instead!
